>>>#4/11/23 I am back, after a two weeks hiatus

It was a good break.  A period of isolation.  It started with me unable to access the Evernote.  That prompted me to look for note-taking alternatives to replace it.

After some testing and evaluating I zeroed in to Google Keep and Microsoft OneNote as my next two top choices.  Each has its own strengths.

Google Keep is good as a middleweight note-taking tool especially for recording things to do and short notes you want to review often.  It links with Google Calendar and can be read from the smartphone.  A practical on-the-fly tool for quick access.

Then I have OneNote for the heavyweight stuff.  This is for the things that I write at length like my ideas and thoughts on more serious matters.  Between Google Keep and Microsoft OneNote, the feeling is like using a pocket notebook and a full-fledged organizer.

Then, I came across Microsoft Designer and Bing Image Creator. Things took off in a big way by then. I am now a totally independent Wordsmith and Illustrator.  No longer do I have to rely on the cliparts I cut and paste from the net.  From here on I create my own images to suit what I write.

For example, these images are my wishful thinking:

It doesn't have to be politically correct either.  It is the truth as I see it.

I know, I know...  We supposed to take sides on this regional conflict.  However, I look at this situation as a no heroes and no villains situation.  It just proved that we are worse than the Bonobos.

So as a final remark, I came up with this quote:

There is one major downside to this macabre...  There goes the peace treaty that was initiated by Saudi and the US.  By the look of it, they rather have war than peace.

There is an old Yiddish saying, "Once a pot is cracked, you can never mend it as it was ever again,"
